Linear’s sale to UKC Group engineered with precision

Highly respected machining services company Linear Precision Engineers has been sold to UKC Group in a transaction led by KBS Corporate.

Linear has achieved an excellent reputation for high-quality metal and plastic CNC machining, establishing long-standing relationships with clients in sectors including aerospace, defence and architecture.

Linear will continue to operate under its existing successful brand following its sale – which was led by Luke Rae, KBS Corporate Deal Executive – to UKC, maintaining continuity for customers whilst benefiting from the wider support and investment of the Group.

Essex-based UKC Group is a supply chain and engineering partner which specialises in the aviation and marine industries, holding a stock inventory of 114 million parts.

The acquisition of Linear aligns with UKC’s long-term strategy of growing a group of specialised engineering and manufacturing businesses, bringing together capabilities that span the full product lifecycle, from design and prototyping to production and assembly.
