Ambico Services has become the second company sold by KBS Corporate to ambitious IT group Dynamic Networks within 10 months.

Established in 2002, Ambico is a managed IT services provider offering comprehensive support, which includes back-up and disaster recovery, cloud services, hosted VoIP, cybersecurity, and website and domain hosting.

The company follows Penntech in joining Dynamic Networks, with both sales advised by KBS. Luke Rae, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, led the Ambico transaction, with legal services provided by K3 Law.

Matt Sreetharan, Managing Director, and Jonathon Blanks, Technical Director, will continue to lead the Ambico team. The company has doubled its revenue organically over the past two years.

“It was the right time to take the next step as part of a larger group and Dynamic Networks were a natural fit,” said Matt and Jonathon. “Their focus on the customer, quality of service and company values aligned closely with our own.

“This is a coming together of two like-minded businesses, not a change of direction. Our team, our relationships and our commitment to our customers remain exactly as they are.”

The deal represents the latest step in Dynamic’s growth strategy towards becoming a leading managed IT services provider.

“This is a genuinely exciting moment for the group,” said Gareth Leese, Managing Director of Dynamic Networks. “Welcoming Ambico extends the breadth of solutions we can offer clients.

“It builds on the momentum we’ve already created with Penntech and I’m particularly pleased that Matt and Jonathon are staying on – they have built something exceptional and their continued leadership will be invaluable as we grow together.”

Dynamic Networks is backed by family office Hay Wain and private equity firm Kingland Capital, while the group partnered with investment specialist Triple Point for the Ambico transaction to support its financing requirements.

“Ambico joining the group broadens the range of solutions the business can offer its clients while further strengthening its market position,” said David Muse, Relationship Director at Triple Point.

“It was a pleasure to work alongside the Dynamic team to help deliver this transaction and we look forward to seeing the business continue to go from strength to strength.”

Paul Landsman, Founder of Kingland Capital, commented: “With Ambico now in the group and the platform we’ve built, we are excited about what comes next as we keep scaling Dynamic into a leading national MSP.”

KBS Corporate’s Luke Rae offered his thanks to colleague Alice Kingsland (Document Writer) for preparing the Ambico marketing materials and said: “It was a pleasure to bring the transaction to a successful conclusion and I wish all parties involved the very best for the future.”
