KBS “highly recommended” as Safetynet deal makes a perfect landing

Craig Cooper and Jackie Cooper, owners of Safetynet, have strongly recommended KBS Corporate following the sale of their business to JMG Group.

The duo founded Safetynet in 2006 and over the course of two decades, the company has developed long-standing client relationships in the health and safety sector, offering a personal service through its experienced team.

Safetynet provides bespoke health and safety and management consultancy solutions, as well as fire risk assessments and emergency planning, in sectors including engineering, hospitality, transportation, agriculture and plant hire.

In a transaction advised by Dylan Bennett, KBS Corporate Deal Executive, Safetynet was sold to JMG Group, a leading insurance broker which comprises a diverse mix of businesses focused on specialist and niche insurance sectors.

In separate 5-star online reviews, Craig Cooper and Jackie Cooper both expressed their complete satisfaction with the work provided by Dylan and the wider KBS team – including Anthony Hacking, Research Analyst, who identified JM Group as a suitable acquirer – in bringing the deal to fruition.

Craig wrote: “I had the pleasure of working with KBS Corporate and in particular my assigned corporate executive Dylan Bennett to help with the sale of my business, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. From the outset, KBS and Dylan in particular demonstrated deep expertise, professionalism and a genuine understanding of my goals.

“Their approach was strategic and they provided valuable guidance throughout the entire process. Thanks guys for your efforts – we were able to find a buyer who was a perfect fit for my company.

“I highly recommend KBS and Dylan for anyone looking to sell their business. They made a complex process seamless and, most importantly, delivered the result I was looking for.”

Jackie Cooper added: “We had an excellent experience working with Dylan Bennett at KBS Corporate. From start to finish, Dylan was proactive, professional and incredibly supportive. He helped find the right buyer and guided us through the entire sale process, which was completed smoothly in just six months.

“Thanks to Dylan’s dedication and expertise, the transaction went through without a hitch. We would highly recommend Dylan and KBS Corporate to anyone considering selling their business.”

Regarding the “perfect fit” with JMG, Craig commented: “From our earliest conversations with JMG, it was clear there’s a strong alignment in terms of culture, philosophy and approach.

“Joining the group lets us continue delivering the service our clients value, while giving them access to additional services and expertise. We’re excited about what comes next.”

Safetynet expands JMG’s health and safety and compliance offering. Nick Houghton, JMG Group’s CEO, commented: “Safetynet is committed to looking after clients properly and building relationships that last, with an experienced team, respected reputation and leadership that cares about its people and customers.

“We remain focused on supporting businesses as they grow, while allowing them to retain the identity and service standards that made them successful in the first place. We are delighted to welcome Safetynet to the group.”
