Powertek acquired by TSG Solutions

Powertek’s growth plans powered by sale to TSG
Award-winning multi-utility specialist Powertek has been sold to TSG Solutions in a transaction designed to “accelerate expansion plans”.
Founded in 2015, Powertek is a fast-growing provider of EPC services with strong expertise in electric grid connections, EV charging and gas network upgrades.
With a team of over 70 field and contract professionals, the company has established itself as a trusted partner in infrastructure decarbonisation projects with a strong HSEQ culture.
In a deal advised by Fabio Rambelli, KBS Corporate Associate Director, with legal services provided by K3 Law, Powertek was sold to TSG Solutions, a leader in technical services for sustainable mobility solutions.
To mark joining the TSG Group – which is based in France and operates widely across Europe and Africa – the company name has been changed to TSG Powertek Limited (Powertek).
“We are extremely excited to join forces with TSG, giving us the scale to expand our core business operations and accelerate our expansion plans in the national power and multi-utility sectors,” said Steve Higgins, Powertek’s Managing Director.
The acquisition strengthens TSG’s Charge & Power segment and provides high-value capabilities to address the rising demand in electrification and infrastructure upgrades.
“We are delighted to welcome the Powertek team to the TSG family,” commented Henry Simpson, TSG Solutions’ Managing Director.
“Powertek has built an enviable reputation as an award-winning electrical and multi-utility contractor to blue-chip clients. Their integration contributes directly to our aim to provide high-quality, multi-energy solutions.”
Fabio Rambelli of KBS offered his thanks to the wider sell-side team that worked on the transaction: Khurshid Valli, James Coates and Rachel Bailey of K3 Law; Fahad Latif, KBS Corporate Transactions Analyst, who assisted with the project; and Georgia Rothwell, KBS Corporate Research Strategy Manager, who secured the buyer.
