KBS Corporate has been “recommended without hesitation” by the founder of The PC Support Group following the company’s sale to private equity-backed VS Group.

Simon Albert founded the business in 2006 and over the course of two decades, The PC Support Group has developed into a multi-award-winning provider of fully managed IT support solutions.

In a deal advised by Jacob Lord, KBS Corporate Associate Director, The PC Support Group was sold to VS Group. The transaction was backed by private equity firm Foresight, which has invested in ambitious IT and cyber security specialist VS Group to support its buy-and-build strategy.

The acquisition of The PC Support Group is the first in a number of planned bolt-on deals VS Group will make during the investment period, and will boost customer numbers at the enlarged group by more than 200.

Phil Bird and Simon Albert, CEO and CTO respectively at The PC Support Group, were delighted with the service provided by KBS to facilitate the deal, both posting five-star online reviews expressing their satisfaction.

VS Group was founded by Kevin Penman and Jason Savion in 2012. To support VS Group’s leadership team as they scale the business, Foresight has introduced experienced IT services executive Iain O’Kane to the business as Chair.
